Brand Marketing - E-Marketing Manager  2008 - Present
Primarily responsible for the public web presence of this, nearly 1 billion dollar company, and the team that supports the ongoing development.  Instrumental in the launch of the new website in June of 2009, strengthening our brand with a more visual and usable interface. Work with our design partners to create a vision for the future, working within our digital marketing strategy and brand guidelines to incorporate rich media where it adds value. Manage the projects, tasks and team members to develop strategies and solutions to provide the highest quality and value..

- Prioritize projects, looking to maximize impact while considering budget resource realities.

- Instrumental in the launch and development of the Customer Website Program, which at the time consisted of over 100 secure sites that connect a customer to targeted information, improving a users’ experience with Herman Miller.
- Manage the custom website development, while looking for ways improvement our processes.
- Strategize with the E-Business Integration Team, Sales and customers on the successful application and use of sites.
- Build, test, edit and launch approximately forty new sites per year.
- Maintain all websites developed, including content enhancements and revisions.

MAGNA DONNELLY/DONNELLY CORPORATION, Holland, Michigan

Information Technology – Webmaster 2000 - 2004

Managed the intranet, and built and supported a network of over 50 content developers globally. Reduced costs while streamlining information sharing for 8,000 employees.

- Worked to develop and maintain “on brand” website design standards and guidelines.
- Generated standardized templates for the creation of departmental intranet sites. 
- Built a navigational structure and deployment strategy.
- Revised intranet navigation by evaluating input gathered, to create a more user-friendly interface.
- Established a content development toolkit including image and logo resources, tutorials, recommended reading, FAQs, and contact information on fellow content champions. Resulted in a self-service resource and improved website quality and champions’ skill sets.
- Created a monthly newsletter to inform developers of additions and revisions to the intranet.

- Assisted the information technology department in conceptualizing, architecting and launching the company’s first intranet site.  Managed and maintained the corporate external website.

Corporate Communications - Graphics and Display Design 1990 - 1996
Coordinated on-brand photography and print to support sales and marketing efforts. Managed custom tradeshow display builds, strategy and logistics.

- Art direction for photography, highlighting product features.
- Developed custom tradeshow exhibits and internal information displays, from concept phase to design and build.  Reduced display costs by 50%.
